The City of Brookfield administers a market-based pay for performance compensation plan for its employees who are not represented by a union. The City updates its salary grades on an annual basis to ensure pay competitiveness and support its employee retention strategies.
In addition, the City provides a standard Wisconsin municipal employer fringe benefit program which includes pension, health and dental insurance, vacation, and sick leave, among other benefits.
