  3. Put Your Heart on Paper: Memoir Writing

    Put Your Heart on Paper-Memoir Writing Mondays, 1-3:00pm: June 16; June 30; July 14; July 28; August 11; August 25 Whether your goal is to preserve memories, compile a collection of stories from your life, or write and publish a memoir, these sessions will get you on your way. You will receive writing prompts, have opportunities to share what you write, and learn to give and receive helpful critiques. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED AND ENROLLMENT IS LIMITED. Participants are STRONGLY encouraged to attend all sessions. Led by published author and Brookfield resident Lois Patton.

    Discuss Spy High: Mission One by Andrew Butcher Snacks and beverages provided! Open to ages 12-18. Books will be available at the Circulation Desk beginning June 24.

    Tom will lead the audience in playing hand drums and rhythm instruments in this multi-generational program. Drums Provided. For ages 7 to 107!

    Join Marilyn Price and her puppets for original and creative shows. A different show each date. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

    Join the Children's Librarians for stories, songs and some surprises. This program is intended for preschool children, ages 3 - 6.

    We have Legos ready and waiting to be turned into your fabulous creations. Come and build with other Lego fans. For all ages. Parents must stay with children under 8.

  5. Library Carnival - 10:30 am & 1:30 pm

    July 30, 10:30 AM - 2:15 PM @ Library Courtyard

    Old fashioned games and plenty of family fun. Join us in the Courtyard for this annual favorite. (Rain date is Wednesday, August 6.)
