  4. Introduction to the Internet 2

    September 23, 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM @ Community Room

    This class provides suggestions for more effective searching. Prior knowledge of the Internet or attendance at “Introduction to the Internet 1” is recommended to get the most out of this class. The emphasis will be on search strategy and the appropriate use of different search engines and databases.
    Basic keyboard and mouse skills are necessary for all Internet Classes. Class Size Limited. Registration Required.

    I Dwell in Possibility: An Intimate Evening with Emily Dickinson A look at the life of one of America’s greatest poets as adapted and performed by Betsey Means of WomanLore. Open to all ages.

    The Middle Ages Come Alive! Are you interested in the Middle Ages and the Renaissance? The Society for Creative Anachronism, which recreates the arts and skills of pre- 17th-century Europe, will present a variety of demonstrations in the Library’s Courtyard. This program is appropriate for all ages.
