Does a person need a bicycle license?
Yes. Municipal Ordinance 10.16.010 License Required: "No person shall operate a bicycle, as defined in Section 340.01(5), Wisconsin Statutes, upon any public highway within the City without first obtaining a license as provided in this chapter." Residents of the City of Brookfield may obtain a bike license at the City of Brookfield Police Department. They may either print the form below or fill out the form at the Police Department Lobby. The fee for obtaining a bike license is $6.00.
