Water/Sewer Utility Billing and Collection
Water and Sewer Utility Billing

Water and Sewer bills are mailed quarterly (March, June, September and December), and are due by the 25th of the following month.  Payments can be mailed to City Hall or there is a drop box on the north side of City Hall.

In addition, the City offers an automatic bill payment for water/sewer bills (download form - requires Adobe Acrobat reader) that can make your payment directly from your checking account.  Online payments of utility bills are also available for a convenience fee.

Sewer bills for residential customers in single family homes who are not hooked up to City water are $123.00 per quarter. Residential and commercial customers connected to City water are billed based on water consumption. The summer quarter billing (due in October) for residential sewer customers who are on City water is computed as the average of the previous three quarters, to account for lawn/garden water usage that is not discharged to the sanitary sewer system.

The City does not perform final readings for water/sewer bills for sales of property; buyers and sellers should have the utility charges prorated as part of the closing process. If you are currently on the Automatic Payment program please notify the Accounting office via U.S. mail, telephone, or via the e-mail address below to ensure that your utility account is removed from direct debit and the bill is mailed to the correct address.
