Services

The Brookfield Public Library provides a wide variety of materials, services and programs for people of all ages.

 

In 2009 the Library circulated 748,648 items; answered 111,072 reference questions; had 318,431 visitors; and, presented 503 children’s programs with 20,480 participants and 240 adult programs with 2,795 attendees.

 

The Library is a member of the Waukesha County Federated Library System as well as of the CAFE shared automation consortium. This provides library users with access to about 600,000 titles and 1.5 million items. A "universal" library card serves as the key to checking out these items at 14 of the 16 public libraries in the County.
