Featured Business Program
On December 6, 1993, the Economic Development Committee approved the establishment of the Featured Business Program. This program honored a Brookfield company that has demonstrated a measure of some or all of the following: Commitment to employees, Effective research and development, Investment in training/retraining, Profitable growth, Innovation, Dedication to total quality, Export activity, Environmentalism, Commitment to Brookfield
On December 7, 2020, the Economic Development Committee approved for the reestablishment of the program to identify and showcase local and regional businesses in the Community. The goal of the program is to captivate some positive news as the country moves past the COVID-19 pandemic. The Featured Business Program will be awarded quarterly. Similar to the previous program the Featured Business program would honor those companies that demonstrate ANY of the following: Commitment to employees, Effective research and development, Investment in training/retraining, Innovation, Dedication to total quality, Export activity, Environmentalism, Commitment to Brookfield, and profitable growth.
The Economic Development Committee is accepting applications for a quarterly Featured Business program.
