The City of Brookfield is committed to accessibility to ensure all city residents. Our ongoing accessibility effort works towards conforming to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.0, level AA criteria. These guidelines not only help make web content accessible to users with sensory, cognitive and mobility disabilities, but ultimately to all users, regardless of ability. Grievance Procedure

The City of Brookfield hereby adopted this grievance procedure (Resolution 2021-101908) to provide for prompt and equitable resolution of complaints alleging any action that is prohibited by Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (hereinafter “ADA”). The City of Brookfield has designated the City Clerk as the ADA Coordinator. In the event a request for access to the City of Brookfield programs, services, activities, or facilities cannot be resolved, an individual may file a grievance either orally or in writing by contacting the ADA Coordinator: City of Brookfield, City Clerk, 2000 N Calhoun Road. Brookfield, WI 53005 or by calling 262-782-9650. 

The City of Brookfield’s ADA Coordinator is available to disabled persons requiring assistance to file a grievance. The City of Brookfield communications regarding the grievance will be in a format accessible to the grievant.
