An election will be held in the City of Brookfield on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 to elect Alderman positions in Districts 1 through 7, and Municipal Judge (city-wide). If a primary is necessary, the primary will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2020. The four year terms for Aldermen begin Tuesday, April 21, 2020. The four year term for Municipal Judge begins May 1, 2020.

If you are not an incumbent, you must file a campaign finance statement upon formulating your intent to run for public office, however you may not circulate nomination papers until Saturday, December 1, 2019 and the deadline for filing nomination papers is 5:00 pm., on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 in the office of the City Clerk.
