Forestry News

Overview
The City of Brookfield has a well-established urban forest. A dominant feature of the community is the tree lined streets, shaded yards, and canopied parks. Based on a street and park tree inventory, the Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department is responsible for the care of over 20,000+ trees which have a total appraised value of several million dollars. This includes trees located on the rights-of-way, easements, median strips, parks and other City areas.
