OFFICIAL NOTICE AND AGENDA OF A COMMON COUNCIL MEETING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A REGULARLY SCHEDULED PUBLIC MEETING WILL BE HELD ON THE DATE, TIME AND LOCATION SHOWN BELOW. UPON ATTAINING A QUORUM OF MEMBERS, ALL ITEMS LISTED ON THE AGENDA SHOWN BELOW MAY BE CONSIDERED (DISCUSSED AND/OR ACTED UPON).

Call to Order: BY MAYOR STEVEN V. PONTO / CHAIR OF THE COMMON COUNCIL

Public Comment:  The public may send comments to the Council at publiccomment@ci.brookfield.wi.us.  Each Council meeting will have 30 minutes set aside for Public Comment. At Public Comment, the public may comment on any topic.    The only exception is comments for a public hearing scheduled that same night. During a public hearing, the public may comment only on the public hearing topic. Commenters should fill out a “public comment sign up” form located at the front table and give it to the City Clerk before the meeting.  Each speaker has no more than 3 minutes and must say their name and address before speaking. The Chair may end the Public Comment time early if no forms are received, no one signals they want to speak, or all comments are done. By majority vote, the Council may add 15-minute segments to Public Comment.

Announcements:   The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Common Council is Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at 7:45 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall.

Roll Call/Pledge: The Pledge of Allegiance led by Alderman Hallquist will follow calling of the roll.
