[ARCHIVED] Ballot Drop Box Located at Brookfield City Hall

Drop Box Photo 4

There is a Secure Payment Drop Box Located in the Parking Lot East of Brookfield City Hall that you can safely drop your City of Brookfield Voted Ballot into until the deadline which is 8:00 PM, on Tuesday, April 7, 2020.  The box will continuously be monitored for voted ballots up to 8:00 pm., on Election Day.  Before dropping your Voter Envelope containing the voted ballot into the box, please make sure the Voter Envelope has been:

1) Signed by the Voter

2) Signed by a Witness

3) Witness Address is printed under the Witness Signature (even if it is the same address as the voter).

All three are required by State Law in order for your Ballot to be Counted!   Please be aware: Once your voted absentee ballot has been returned either by mail or drop off, you may NOT vote in person.  If you have not returned an absentee ballot by mail or drop off, you may decide to vote in-person at the Brookfield Conference Center on Election Day.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  Mailed Ballots must be postmarked by April 7th, 2020 and received by no later than Monday, April 13th, 2020 in order to be counted.   However, due to the slow and inconsistent delivery of mail via the USPS, we highly recommend using the Drop Box to deliver your voted ballot back to us by 8:00 PM,  on Election Day (Apr 7, 2020)
