[ARCHIVED] Village Area Tree Lighting - Thursday December 6, at 5:00 PM

The Tree Lighting will be adjacent to Miller Homes, 2925 North Brookfield Road, immediately adjacent to Brookfield Dance Academy. Mayor Steve Ponto will make remarks and officially light the tree. Children from MLS Children’s Edu-Care will sing carols, and dancers from Brookfield Dance Academy will perform . Cookies and hot beverages will be available at MLS Edu-Care, 2950 N. Brookfield Road.

The Tree Lighting is part of the Village’s initiative to decorate the Village area for the holidays. Businesses, property owners and residents in the area have come together to plan for the holidays, and the City of Brookfield is working with the group to install banners on light poles in the Village. First Bank Financial Centre, 18155 W. Capitol, has made a sponsorship commitment to the Village to help this and future projects move forward.

Please join us in the Village on Thursday evening for this celebration of holiday cheer!
