The City of Brookfield has proposed several amendments to the zoning standards regulating the use of property and building locations/height regulations, etc. within the Village Area Business (VAB) zoning district. The VAB was established for the commercial and transitional land use areas near Brookfield Road at the crossroads with the CP Rail line. The Village Area is one of Brookfield’s Targeted Investment Areas (TIA). The open house meeting will be on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 in City Hall Council Chambers, 2000 North Calhoun Road. Stop in between 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
