Should I lock my vehicle?: The City of Brookfield PD is asking or reminding all residents to lock their vehicles while parked in their driveways. Whenever possible, please place vehicles in secured garages. If vehicles need to be left on the driveway please secure valuables (GPS units, laptops, briefcases, purses, other valuable items) out of sight, in the trunk, or bring into your residence overnight.

1. I have information about a crime?: If you have information about a crime, submit an anonymous tip. Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards to those anonymous citizens who give information regarding a person or persons responsible for a given crime. These rewards range from $25 to $1000 after an arrest, depending on the severity and importance of the crime solved. Crime Stoppers of Waukesha County

2. Overnight Parking: 10.08.030 All night parking prohibited.
No person shall park any vehicle on any street in the city between two a.m. and six a.m. of any day except with express permission of the police department.

3. Does a person need a bicycle license?: Yes. Municipal Ordinance 10.16.010 License Required: "No person shall operate a bicycle, as defined in Section 340.01(5), Wisconsin Statutes, upon any public highway within the City without first obtaining a license as provided in this chapter." Residents of the City of Brookfield may obtain a bike license at the City of Brookfield Police Department. They may either print the form below or fill out the form at the Police Department Lobby.
