Discover the days gone by with the Brookfield Public Library’s historical fiction book club. Books are available at the Circulation Desk about 1 month before the meeting. Meetings are normally held in the Rotary Room but may move to another room if necessary (on the date of each meeting, please check the sign in the lobby for meeting location). Everyone interested in reading and discussing historical fiction is welcome!

Agatha Christie (1890-1976) was a prolific English “Queen of Crime” author of world renown. She created such famous detectives as Hercule Poirot, the eccentric Belgian and English spinster Miss Jane Marple. Christie enjoyed a career that spanned over 50 years and her works have now sold into the billions. Meet Ms. Christie as adapted and performed by Betsey Means.

Join the Children's Librarians for stories, songs, action rhymes and fingerplays. Parents and caregivers must attend with children, and are expected to participate. Programs are held in the Community Room.
