Kilburn Knox: Governor of Milwaukee Soldiers Home2022-05-19T19:00:00In January 1887, Kilburn Knox was appointed Secretary and Inspector of the Northwestern Branch, National Home for Disabled Veterans at Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He became Governor of the Home on May 1, 1889. His wife, Annie, worked as a Matron of the Home. General Knox died at the National Soldier's Home on April 17, 1891.
