Wednesdays: May 31; June 14, 28; July 12, 26 and August 9 Whether your goal is to preserve memories, compile a collection of stories, or write and publish, these sessions will get you on your way. You will receive writing prompts, have opportunities to share what you write, and learn to give and receive helpful critiques. Led by published author Lois Patton. Registration is limited and begins Monday, May 1. Participants are strongly encouraged to attend all sessions.

Naval history is rich in the culture and tradition of tattoos. Tattoos have been a part of the Navy for centuries and each one tells a story. Tricia Menke, Curator of Education at the National Museum of the American Sailor will discuss the ways in which tattoos and Navy culture intertwine, how they are part of Navy traditions, and will show the many styles of Navy tattoos.
