• Thanksgiving day and the Friday after
• Christmas Eve day and Christmas day
• New Year’s eve day at noon - Finance Department Only
• If any of these days fall on a Saturday, then closed on the Friday before and Sunday, then closed on Monday
  
  

2. When is the Recycling Center open?

April thru the end of November, the Recycling Center is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:00-7:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. year round.

3. Does a person need a bicycle license?

Yes. Municipal Ordinance 10.16.010 License Required: "No person shall operate a bicycle, as defined in Section 340.01(5), Wisconsin Statutes, upon any public highway within the City without first obtaining a license as provided in this chapter." Residents of the City of Brookfield may obtain a bike license at the City of Brookfield Police Department. They may either print the form below or fill out the form at the Police Department Lobby. 10. When is Trick or Treat?

Trick or Treat is always on Halloween Day (October 31st) from 5:00 pm., to 7:30 pm.
